What you mean about let the conversation die? You should never let the conversation die, what you can\should do (it's up to you) is: you can stop texting her for awhile and then text her again.
But tell me, if she's interested already and you are having a good time texting her why should you stop texting her? This will kill your comfort!
Mate this PUA stuff about negging and show no interest it's just at the beginning, after awhile when you see that the moment is right you have to start to show interest, otherwise she wouldn't feel interest\comfort.
Show no interest is used to create comfort with her around you, you don't get laid by that.
So you have to show some interest first, like a little, which it can be done by a complement about her, then you can start to do that (create huge gaps between texting), but avoid to do that over and over again otherwise she might get pissed of and stop talking to you! That's why you should get the things tuned, never over do things!
