What do you think has happend in society since she wrote the book? I think some of her statements still are valid. Its the woman who controls the man. She decides when the sex is on and she can decide to take the kids and walk away whenever she wants. In her days the woman relied more on the man as the provider but nowdays the women can support themselfs and doesnt need the men.

Whats your thoughts on the book? How do you think that society has evolved and how do we adapt the best to it?

A heterosexual womans purpose is to find love and romance through a relationship with a man. So can win make a living and support themselves without men? Of course. Can they feel fulfilled and happy without a man? No. It goes against a woman's nature to support herself; so absolute happiness cannot be had when going against your nature.

Thats like saying; lions are happy being hand fed by humans, living a docile life inside of a zoo. Sure they can survive, but happiness can't be had unless the creature is allowed stick to its nature.
