There's a girl I've been friends with for a long time. We're friends, but every time we hang out she talks about this other guy nonstop. Like how he's so hot blah blah blah. I have a crush on her so this annoys me, and so far I've just been listening. How do I respond to that if she does it again?

Well my question was what should I say when she brings it up, not how I should punish her.

Should I act uninterested? Tell her to stop doing that? Or what? I've known her for a year, I shouldn't just start acting passive aggressive because she has an annoying habit. That's silly.

ok, i will add this one caveat. i once pursued a chick who used to do the same thing to me, but at the time she had made it very clear to me that she was interested and i had blown her off. she tried to bring up other guys as an obvious ploy to get a reaction. i ended up fucking her but it was more hassle than it is was worth in the end. ur case doesnt sound like this scenario at all. it sounds like a case of oneinitis. we've all been there and the simplest remedy is plenty of hot chicks! ;)
