Hi all, firstly apologies if this is in the wrong place or just in general crap! I'm pretty crappy at this and would like some opinions if there's a way to go...

So I went to a friends birthday, I'm interested in one of her mates but she was with her boyfriend and I was a bit tipsy so I didn't manage to make a good first impression (I don't think!)..

Anyway, later that night I managed to control my state enough to call a taxi for them and another mate whom lived close to them (and was in a totally wrecked state)... I waited with her and my mate for a bit whilst her boyfriend went to the toilet. she told me he's really controlling and was getting angry while she was dancing, I can't even remember what I said...

Anyway, I managed to get her number from a mate under the pretence I wanted to check my other mate got back ok (she was the most sober of the trio too so that helped!) She did text me later to let me know everyone is back safe and sound and well that's it...

Is there a chance in taking this forward with that little info?? Also bear in mind the friend who's birthday it was I barely see, never mind randomly bumping into her other mate again...

~I agree with the whole leave her alone thing, just because you can close her doesnt mean you should, put your self in that guys shoes how would you like it happening to you?

And for all the relationship girls going out for a mate, there are loads more single ones going out to pull.

Remember there are two sides to every story he may be controlling but she may be a cheater or cheated with him in a previous encounter and now he is afraid of a repeat.

You could always try befriending the guy and using him to get an in, then invite him and her out with you and a few mates and you can then show social proof and see what the interaction is like from there.

Or try bump into her again, maybe text the mate you dont see to well and say you had a good time at the bday party and that you should all go out again some time, and then use her as preselection.
