First sorry this is off topic but as this is all about self improvement wanted some advice.
Imagine this scenario at work I make a mistake then I admit I made a mistake. She does not know how to fix the mistake she has to wait for her male coleage to come back from a meeting. In the mean time I google for a fix and then find a fix and email her the fix.

She intern replys to my email telling me to do precisly whats in the email showing no recognition that I had actually found the fix.

To confirm this fix I spoke to an ex colleage of mine who was an expert in the field he suggested a differant fix i.e to do nothing as it would fix its self.

I thought it would be helpful to tell my college this but she snapped and said "did you not read my email" I was shocked she could speak to me like that and get away with it considering her line manger just sits next to her.

Stupidly I started to defend my self and justify my actions. I told her I had asked my college before she had send the email to me. It was almost like being at school I was the naughty boy who had questioned her knowledge.

She then went on to tell me how the system had fixed its self. ( Which was fair enough) but she lacked any kind of empathy or respect my not listening to what I had to offer.

This was early on today ive been to the gym and im still steaming you think I should report her to her manger ? how would you deal with the situation? The fact is I dont bother asking her for advice unless I have to as I found her to be like this maybe its because i do her old job and she gets kicks out of talking down to me ive just about had enough of her lack of respect.

It's your job on the line bro... I would just let it go. I think you posted this out of rage, and you are getting over it.

Lots of people deal with bigger personnel issues than you are right now man.

Just let it go.

You know the saying, "kill them with kindness". Just be nice to her and in return I'll bet her attitude will do a complete 360.

We've got a women in the office at my work. Absolute bitch. She was running amuck for a while and she had all the guys cowled down. Until the first time she tried her shit on me. She come in the office all puffed up yelling and me over something i ddnt do and I blew a gasket on that cunt. I got all up in her shit and layed into into her. Layed into her about how unprofessional she is(in front of her boss. Lol) I knew he was watching so I even called her out on the way she had treated my coworkers. The raising her voice, etc. By the end of the "hard ass bitch" crumbled like a house of cards. She was in tears. As I'm walking away I look over. Her bosses eyes are real big and he's got a shit eating grin on his face. I'm a truck driver so I don't see the office much. About a week later I got an email from her. She says next time your around stop into my office. So I did. She wanted to apologize and explain herself. Turns out the women's just going through some major drama at home. Her son took one of her husbands(his step dads) guns to school to show his friends and got caught with it. After these mass shooter pukes I bet you could guess how that went over. She said DCFS and the police came to there home and messed with them. Tried taking all his guns. This guy said fuck this nightmare and split. So she was financially in ruins, her son is expelled and facing criminal charges, and her husband bailed on them. I felt like the biggest pos ever. I can really relate. I took a gun to school when I was a kid. Fortunately it was before all this school shooting stuff was going down. Thy took it and the principal and my dad hashed that out without punishment. Well besides getting my head thumped real good when he got me in the car. Point being maybe this lady has other stuff going on that's effecting her at work. Don't be afraid to defend yourself ever. She just might open up. Now when our office lady hears my voice she walks across the building just to greet me. I guess not cowling down is all she needed from someone. We're buds now. All the other guys think I'm giving her the dick. Lol
