No car and live with parents??

I have a job and I am a musician, but I don't really live in a huge town so not too many cabs and if they are they charge $2 for 0.1 miles its ridiculous . How can I over come not getting my car until September and living with the folks? I'm 23

Do you have a friend (I.e. a wingman) you could catch a ride with? Maybe you could go to the girls place.

Yeah I'd prefer to go to her place , but I never asked if we could go back to her place. Usually girls just ask me but how do I suggest tht we go to her place or if she can pick me up? I know I'm probably over complicating it lol.

Sorry babe, we have to go to your place instead because:

- My roommate is a dick
- My roommate has a chick over
- The neighbor died and there's a strange smell
- My dog has the shits and there's a strange smell
- I am REALLY curious about YOUR place instead!
- I had a party the other night and still haven't cleaned up
- My cat hates people
- My air conditioning/heat is busted

Or any number of others...

Of course this excuse will get tired after a while, but might be good for a lay or two.

I like te creativity and they will help me come up with some originals thanks. Now I just gotta ask her to pick me up. Anyone have any suggestions to smoothly transition into it? Or do I just pretty much say, come pick me up ill give you some gas money and I live 20 minutes away hahah
