Dear Forum,

I invited this girl out for coffee but she never got back to me --> most likely cold shoulder. We never met in person, just exchanged facebook profiles and phone numbers recently. I am wondering if my facebook profile scared her off. I am a geek, I like things such as Dexter's Laboratory and Star Wars. I am wondering if I should remove these interests and try and make my profile more mysterious.

Any suggestions?

Why do you have them there in the first place?

Before you say "it's something I enjoy",

You don't need to tell the whole world what you're into.

People are often using Facebook to manipulate people's minds into forming some sort of identity about you. If that sounds appealing to you, and you're morally fine with doing that, do it. If there's something unfavorable about you that you might be shy about and making an impression is important for you, just take it off.
