Anyway, before the meet up day I sent her a text and told her let's meet up at this time.
She then replied - apologizing - and said that she couldn't do on that day, but could do the week after.
I was kind of offended by this, because she hadn't bothered to take her time and let me know that she wouldn't be able to make it on that day - as we had planned the earlier.
So I replied and said that's fine (that she can't make it) but I wouldn't be able to do the week after, and I concluded the text by saying maybe some other time.
She then said that's fine, but sometimes soon though.
She didn't come to work on the day that she was supposed to. A few days later I saw her and she asked me if I had missed her at work (in a playful way). I said no (not in a hostile way) but kept the conversation brief and told her that I had to go.
She hasn't been to work one single day after our chance meet up and that was a few weeks ago.
I don't know what to do. I don't want her to not come to work because she might think I'm really offended by what she did (it wasn't exactly something that I couldn't get over, but just wanted to tell her that I wasn't really pleased either by acting the way that I just described). I don't really know what message I might have delivered.
Any ideas? Anyway that I can set up another date?
Sorry about the amount of text. Also the work thing is a voluntary position so she can simply stop coming whenever.
Thanks.
