From reading this forum I learned there are different types of cockblockers. Last night I was annihilated by a protective one. She was one of those girls who is only moderately attractive who makes up her self worth by projecting herself on a more attractive friend and by making decisions for her.

Let me paint the picture first. I was seeing this girl and we had already gone on dates in the two weeks previous. It was all going fantastically and I knew that sex on this night would be a certainty. I was bringing her to a friends houseparty and then out. I figured this would be perfect as my friends (all girls) would really big me up. But she would come on only one condition: That her friend who was otherwise alone would join us.

As soon as I met the friend I knew she didn't like me, even though I made an effort. But whatever the reason, she didn't like me and from then on she did everything in her power to ruin my chances with her friend:

1. While we were walking to the party she genuinely made an effort to walk BETWEEN me and the girl.
2. at the party she dragged the girl into a corner where she was cut off from my friends and could only really talk to her.
3. She repeatedly said how shit the party was.
4. She would interupt me whenever I talked.
5. She convinced the girl to leave the party early and dragged her out, forcing me to follow or quit.
6. While walking to the club she would whisper to the girl and when I asked what she was saying she'd say nothing. (I wonder what they were talking about).
7. She picked on what I said, example: ME: "oh yeah tonight the club will be full, there'll be millions of people there" HER: "Millions?? there are only 4 million people in this country hahahahahahHAHAHAHAHAH. HA. HA. HA!
8. While at the club she would hold the girl's hand and drag her around the clubs and into corners. Always away from me. Fucking bitch.

In the end I said to the girl: "are you going to spent the whole night with her (the cockblock)" she said "I have to". The I said, right, fuck off and I left to join my friends.

I'm normally great at chatting up girls but I simply can not deal with any kind of determined cockblock. What should I do in the future?

Befriend her. Stop paying attention to your target for a while. Get the cockblocker attracted to you and then she will be encouraging. That is where being a master of social dynamics comes into play.

That's what I tried, she would only answer me with one word or else at joke at my expense or at the expense of one of my friends. She definitely had her mind msde up on how she was going to treat me before we even met

i've done this...worked in my favor
i've also seen it fail...
but more times then not it worked...

joke with the blocker about how mean she's being...
"why are you being so mean tho..."/"did somebody shit in your coffee today, because you are snapping at everybody"

makes the blocker appear rude to everyone in her party including her friend(your target)...especially if your target is indeed having fun(thats your job to make happen)

talk about how she must like you, because she's being so mean...
"you must like me, cuz you are being really mean to me tonight"/"you must like me, cuz you're being a bitch to me"(if you're edgy like that)

the blocker is now being given the spotlight instead of taking it, as she's been the whole night...most people crumble when they are given the spotlight, blockers are no different...
she can either make another joke about you, but to go that route will make her look like a real bitch seeing how you gave her the spotlight...or...say "no i dont", which almost always sounds like they're lying...which is when youuuuuuuuu

then switch focus back to your target, talking about how her friend must want you and thats why shes cockblocking...
"she must not want you to have me, thats why shes cockblocking"/"she wants me all to herself, but im yours.......maybe"

i came up with that one by modifying the target-isolation method...and sometimes its true that the blocker actually does like you and is jealous



all of this is to show your sense of humor, charm your target, and defuse the blockerbomb...hell, sometimes the target may even think your brave for confronting her friend who even she may think is too protective

the last line reassures your target that you are interested in her by stating that the cockblocker is indeed...COCKBLOCKING

Possible Outcomes
1 - the blocker may start feeling like a douche and ease up and chill out
2 - the target might actually join your side and tease her friend or get her friend to chill out
3 - the blocker blows up and gets all mad...for every possible positive there's a possible negative
