I have been trying out the PUA stuff for a while, i find it interesting, yes of course the picking up women part is useful and can be fun, but in general i have been using it in order to improve my social dynamics, and it has lead on to other subjects such as body language, NLP, how to conduct yourself in business etc.

in the last four months, have been introduced to some of the most dynamic individuals i met in my lifetime, one guy was able to have the waitress paying for his meal and his friends meal at a fancy restaurant in the city centre. Getting laid is one thing but having the ability to converse with people from all walks of life at your choosing, and live a high epic lifestyle is altogether different.

One thing i have noticed about these characters, is that although they are fully capable to pick up the most beautiful women around, and they all have/had exotic girlfriends. They don't let (to put it bluntly) getting pussy rule them.
Doing this PUA material, can be a dangerous road, to becoming a freak show, who is dumbing himself down and becoming dependent on chasing pussy.

PUA material is useful but take from it what you will, for example a lot of material that mystery methods does, i can't do myself. Becoming confident with yourself and start getting to grips living a high value lifestyle, apart from spending hours a day studying how to play along with women and their tedious games.

In the end of the day if you don't have a strong frame, you will always be subservient to the world around you, as that is always going to be different ultimately. You can learn one or two new routines and stick to them, but they aren't always going to work, if a girl screams in your face, or you have a series of rejections, you are going to get destroyed if you don't have strong inner game.

Just a few thoughts i had passing through my head, and i thought i would share.

Understanding Pick Up and Social Dynamics will help you build a better life for yourself. You are taught to act as a high value male. You begin to get treated like one. Human beings naturally fall into the role that they are given by others... Others treat you as you are high value, you become high value. Well said...

I agree with the canned material reference to an extent.

It isn't everything but what it does do is take the opener or next section in conversation from a creative task to a mechanical task. ie. You don't have to worry about what to say so it takes away that barrier.

Saying something is still better then saying nothing. If it is the worst canned line in the world and the approach/set goes horribly wrong you will still have EXPERIENCE which can't be bought. So while I understand your point about frame I think we should also mention that often the value of something is determined from what you are comparing it to. So if the choices are A) Say nothing or B) Say a canned line. Always take B. ALWAYS!

I still have canned material I rely on when things aren't going exactly to plan naturally.
