I'm trying to interpret this situation in my head so please help me:

I work with this girl and have been for the past 2 months. I am also talking to a girl on the side who I am pretty serious with as well. Keep in mind I am only 17 years old.

Anyways, at work I believe I have demonstrated my alpha male characteristics in terms of how I compare to other men I work with. I am definitely the best looking, the strongest, etc and I believe I display that through my actions and the way I speak because many times people believe me to be overconfident. As I digress, this girl I work with started talking to me and told me she wanted to "hangout" after work so I took her up on that opportunity and we madeout in the back of her car (she "had" a boyfriend at the time) She told me, quote, "You're the only guy I would really do this with" She knows I am talking to someone on the side and she and I were aware that she had a boyfriend.

We hooked up once again after work about a week later and we have pretty much established that it will continue to be a "no strings attached" relationship, meaning I can hook up with this chick and not have to have any commitment attached whatsoever while talking to my "main" chick.

My question to you guys is, would you consider this a success?

Why would she strictly say "You and I are strictly off limits" meaning we will only hook up, no relationship. She knows I'm talking to someone else and she said she wants me to be happy but it's also messing with my head in a sense knowing that I can't take this further (not that I want to or need too)

The reason she's saying that to you, is simply because she knows you're talking seriously with another girl. Because she knows that, she assumes that you "talk seriously" with girls you're hooking up with. So that is why she wanted to make it clear to you that she's not interested in anything beyond hooking up, because you have shown the potential for more than that through your actions with the other girl.

Having a boyfriend, that kind of thing is "strictly off limits." She can fuck you, but she can't be talking to you. It makes sense to girls, it's best to just accept these kinds of things.

She's just trying to make sure you're on the same page, so you do not expect more than she is able/willing to give.

Last comment...don't ever encourage her to break up with him. Ever. If she doesn't want to, she'll see you as needy and drop you like a rock. If she does want to, you'll never be able to date her without wondering if she'll drop YOU for the next hot guy she's fucking.

If anything, give her advice on the relationship and how to improve it. But even then only do that if she brings it up first or asks you a question.
