About a month ago I met this wonderful brunette at a party. She's 19, I'm 20. I've number closed and just ran normal game with her, try to get a day 2 and eventually close the deal. She was quite hesitant to go on a day 2, but did invite me to parties where she was attending. When I saw her the week after, at one of the parties I went for the kiss but i got the neck. Well no big deal, this is a serious one..

I know everyone would say, leave her and move on, but this girl attracted me so much that all other girls are irrelevant for the moment. She only had 1 LTR and got hurt really badly .. so she's quite hard to get and not really that kind of girl for random hookups. She's fucking hot and seems very trusworthy. She never even kissed a guy in a bar, her words but i believe it. That's fine. After a bit more text game I thought the time was right to show her some intent and vulnerability and show her that I think she's awesome. At the moment she had the image that I was a player without a really sentimental and serious side.

I've expressed her my true feelings and dropped my ego. She kinda took it as a good way and it made her blush. But then she said to me you're already the 3d guy in a few weeks time that said something similar. And I don't want to hurt anyone. I said, okay that's fine and internally accepted it.

Then suddenly a few hours later she sent me a text message that she appreciated my honesty and started to asking me some questions about relationships etc.. I was like Wtf?? Is this girl playing me? I've asked her out many times but never got her fully investment.

After I went blank for a bit, for 4 days, she re-engaged and asked me if I would go to party X. We had a good chat. She was investing in the conversation. Her replies were longer than usual, she was qualifying herself. But after few texts back and forward I gave her a compliment and flirted a bit but from then on she went cold again. Probably, she feels 'wanted' again so she is 'validated?' Maybe she just likes it and wants a rebound?


I can't figure her out. What does she want from me, is she in to me? What do I do? Keep texting her on random moments or be patient? She's sending me mixed signals. I know she's been hurt before and is a girl that takes time to open herself up to guys.

If it wasn't for that girl I wouldn't post this, but after 3 years being single some settling would be nice.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The slightly longer answer is: She's not interested in a relationship with you, but she likes keeping you as an option/for attention. It validates her and makes her feel better knowing that there's a guy chasing after her.
The remedy, is even simpler: new girl.
