I get told a lot by girls that i am really smooth and crafty when I play my game. is that a good thing or does it mean I am being too obvious?

If they're saying that and you're still getting action, all the more power to you. If they're saying that and you find yourself not getting anywhere with women, then I wouldn't take it as a compliment, but rather as having some sort of deficiency in your game that may require addressing.
