Hey guys, I've been invited to a party tonight where I know a few of the girls but don't really hang out with that much. Was going to go with a friend but he's just flaked on me, I feel like if I'm going there I'll feel really AFC? How can I approach this sort of setting?

Introduce yourself to the guys first and foremost. Get them on your side and you're fine. You just don't want to be the weird guy who won't talk to anyone. If you genuinely think you don't have the balls to approach and meet new people, don't go.
