Hey,
I live in a small town, which I was born, but have only been back here since '09. I was home schooled and I have a social disability. So my question, how could I improve my chances in a small town with the problems I face? I have gone to several counselors, but they seemed to pat me on the back if nothing else. I am attending a community college, but it seems like everyone I want to approach is taken. I honestly don't know what to do. I have studied game a little bit, and tried both warm approaches and cold approaches (mostly online). I tend to get a lot of glances, but most the time it is at an inopportune time. To add to this, I am confused to know what to talk about (I tend to be intellectual). Any thoughts?
Move out of the small town... It is your life. Change it if you don't like it.
And you are limiting yourself by saying "IT SEEMS that everyone you WANT to approach is taken." You are giving yourself reasons not to approach and this type of reasoning will destroy you. Calibrate a response AFTER you open, not before, and continue working from there. Don't stand back and say "well, she probably has a boyfriend, so I had better not talk to her." You are the one holding yourself back.
