About to get in a relationship with a HB9. She is friends with an AFC hoverer who she enjoys hanging out with, and from what he knows about me (he thinks I'm a player) he has told her that he is "dissappointed in her" and that she can do better than me, also that she has no pride. She told him she can make her own decisions and she cancels plans with him all the time to hang out with me.

She tells me these things and so far I have pretty much kept a "haters gonna hate" mentality and I don't make a big deal of his comments, and just tell her not to worry about it. My question is tho, if we get in a relationship, should I condone her hanging out with this guy if he keeps talking this kind of shit about me? Should I just pretend it doesn't bother me? She has been friends with him for awhile and I will have to see him at social events.

I am pretty sure I can dislike him openly because of what he has said about me (I have told her this but I dont make a big deal about it) but can I condone her hanging out with him like I have? She sees his behavior as a jealously play

seriously it sounds like this friend of hers, is putting himself into the crapper, it's ok to listen about him but I wouldn't try and destroy him, you already sound like you have it handled fine. there is no need to burn him. The ignoring him like hes a thorn in her ass is working

cool man I thought so, but you guys are the safety net on here! seems like the cool, unimpressed alpha is the way to go here...I guess really the only time to get upset at anyone is when you are out with a HB and there is a threat to both of you
