I've always felt like a pimp walking around with a hickey and a devilish but boyish grin on my face. But without telling you how girls have reacted to this, I'd like to get the community's opinion.

My thinking in favor of the hickey is, much like Mystery's lipstick kiss, it shows preselection. Arguing against it, however, is that it might trigger ASD, especially if seen in "polite" contexts. Then again, girls get a kick out of having naughty thoughts in polite society, but they might deny it or be too shy to express it due to social pressure.

So, if I get a hickey from a girl, should I try to hide it the next day, should I not give a shit and let it shine, or does it depend on where I'm going and what I'm doing there (besides picking up girls)?

It's a hit and miss really. Depends on the girl. In my experience it's a negative thing because girls see that and think, "Wow, he was JUST with another girl recently and now he's trying to get with me? What if he has something?"

Although I can see how it can be a badge of honour to show off, but with your boys, not to other girls.

Right, but if you read The Game, Style does even better when he does have other women in his life, and they all know about it, and they go for it anyway because of how powerful preselection is. What you stated is definitely the common wisdom, and the lack of plausible deniability may make it go over the line in most cases, but I can't help but feel it still might work for you enough that it's not worth going out of your way to cover up.

But if that's your personal experience, it's more valuable than theories. My experience is that people including women will chastise me if they see me with a hickey at work, but the women will secretly look at me with a "you little player!" look. Not saying they're making moves on me, just saying it's like they don't want to admit that they find some charm in it. Still up to debate whether the positives outweigh the negatives though.

I've been reading the game but haven't reached this part yet. Preselection eh? Sounds plausible, maybe I'll have to give a " look at my hickey" game but play it off like I don't even know its there. And let her notice it, and if she points it out then what?

I've never really gotten or given hickies, where I'm from and how I grew up it's kind of taboo because it's been shown as a mark of a dirty birdie or a mark that says "I'm taken and in a relationship."

If a woman I was sarging noticed my hickey, the worst thing I could do would be to hide it. Showing her you're ashamed and trying to conform to her morals (whether or not they're also yours) = bad. What I'd do at that point is probably look down and bashful and smile thinking about it, but with a devilish twinkle in my eye like "yeah, I know, I've been a bad boy..."

To my mind, it shows that I really know how to unleash a girl from her sexual prison. Any guy can stick his dick in her, but not every guy can get her so worked up in passion that she can't help herself and accidentally leaves a mark. Now, my mom thinks girls hickey consciously, or at least with the subconscious motivation to mark a guy as taken and own him. I'm not totally convinced, but willing to entertain that theory, in which case it might provide jealousy, which could either work or it could trigger ASD. Just my thoughts.

And where are you from, the midwest?

Like I said, I haven't gone this route before, but in the future I'll be sure to add it to my playbook if successful. I'm from the great white north, Alberta is kinda midwest I guess. Women up here are different I'm guessing.

Heh I wouldn't go out of your way for it, but couldn't hurt to try it if the situation presents itself.

Also, if you read in The Game about the girl Marko is into and thinks is different, not only because of how she presents herself but because of a more conservative culture in general, you'll see that women really desire the same things as men do for many of the same reasons, albeit their priorities might be different, and they tend to feel more guilt about going with their feelings. In my experience, there are some women out there who've grown up and feel no guilt about getting their sexual needs taken care of by a guy, and they will give little or no ASD or LMR as long as they feel both attracted and safe around you.

Mystery Method is written specifically for the girls who have the most sexual guilt and are the most cautious because of possible repercussions to their reputation. I actually lost a beautiful, fit Mexican cougar once (she only looked in her 30s or so) because I was thinking "it can't be this easy" and was in my head thinking of the next phase in my game plan. With her, I'd come off fun and playful with both her and her friend, she was leaning into me and rubbing her hair against my face as she talked to me. After dancing with her and seeing all the IOIs she was giving me, I could have probably been as direct as saying "Hey, let's bounce before they kick us out of here."

Your average hottie, especially if Alberta is a bit conservative, is going to have more ASD, but the secret is to make her comfortable enough after you build the attraction. Remember, underneath that wall, she fantasizes about a guy sweeping her off her feet and giving her permission to unleash her naughty side.
