I cut all ties with an Ex-Girlfriend a while back. We both loved each other, but because of her religion we could never be together. I told her that "I wasn't going to ever seen her again," since we love each so much. I have stayed true to my word and have not, nor plan to contact her in any way.

Since then, I have hooked with so many girls that I have lost count. I enjoy the company of the girls I am with when I am chilling with them, yet afterwards I always have this empty feeling.

Does anyone have a similar experience, and some advice for getting rid of that empty feeling?

Couldn't said it any better "Heywood Jablowme". But I will add that she was only a chapter in your life but she's not the book. A new chapter of your life has opened up so start writhing it with someone who will help you wright it to the very end.
