This may seem like an obvious question, but i don't understand why such an approach seems to build attraction instantaneously.

Going up to a girl and asking a question "Hey can i ask you a question, who lies more"

Or something else not so cliche, seems to spark instant attraction, is it because you have the confidence to talk to them, is it because a lot of girls are insecure.

Also on a side note, does anyone have any good opening questions, sometimes i find just saying "hey hows it going" a good one, but its always better with a question.

I prefer opinion openers. (don't use the "who lies more?" anymore lol that's almost guaranteed been heard. Don't get caught using a line.) They allow the girl to tell you something about herself... That's why she likes it too. It shows that you are seeking something other than her looks (which is what girls want) and it is also non threatening. (so she will answer and most likely not reject you)

You can ask her opinion on anything.

What kind of pop tarts do you like? Strawberry or Chocolate?


Just make sure you have some STORY ready to go about WHY you are asking. You don't want it to sound like you are taking a survey. Girls will test you as to why you are asking a certain question to test your frame.

Don't question instant attraction. Use it.

It's not that important. The point of opening is not for it to go smoothly or good, the point of approaching is just to do it and not avoid it and build momentum. What you open with doesn't really matter its how quickly and confidently you are. It builds some attraction because it is confident attractive behaviour seeing a girl you like and talking to her.
