This evening started out like any other. On the first friday of the month this hipster-ish restaraunt by my house hosts live hip hop shows for its customers or who ever just stops by. Ive performed there twice in the past but tonight was the first time i ever ordered food from there. There are only two servers. The owner, and some girl waitress. The owner is usually either really busy taking orders, or being a jerk. But im starving so I take the risk. "he seems pretty chill tonight, I wonder if he'll give me the password to the wifi", I thought. So I asked. He ignored me. so I ask the waitress chick. "omg did he not tell you? was he being a dick??" she asked. I laughed and i said "yeah, is he always like this?". she smiled and said she'd get it for me so i take my seat. I wait for about 15 min and she comes past me brushes against my shoulder and tells me she'll be right back with the password and she does. a few momments later asked me what my order was then tells me i should eat it there because its already been plated. so i do. i was gonna be there all night to watch my friend perform later. Plus my waitress was really cool so I ask her what her name is. she tells me and immidiately askes whats mine. i tell her. we shake hands. "can I get anything else for you? she asks. "A fork would be cool". she laughs and sets silverware in front of me. "Thanks". I eat and I pretty much forget about her. The performance wasnt starting until about 2 hours so i leave for maybe 45-50 mins. I get back and and Im greeted by the same waitress; "welcome back handsome, I missed you. you never call". I was so thrown off by it that I mumble "i missed you too." She carries on about her work. i sit with a female friend. During conversation with the girl, I ask the waitress for a cup of water and my companion asks for extra bbq sauce. "so demanding!'', the waitress leans in an smiles to me. I smile back. she walks off and returns with our requests. at this point I bored talking to the friend Im sitting with, so I move to a table with a male friend of mine. walking up right behind me is the waitress. i sit. she makes a silly face at me. keeps walking though. Im talking to my friend for about 5 mins and the waitress walks pass in the opposite direction and kicks my chair to get my attention then looks back and smiles. I smile back. 5 mins later she comes my way again. i try to trip her with a smile. she smiles and says "ur using up all the wifi dude!" and snatches my phone. i say "put your number in there" she says no and we dont interact at all that night. why did this happen? she seemed into me? was she just being nice?? did I miss something??
