My wing opened up a 3 set and I later joined in. Not paying much attention to the HB9. To keep a long story short, things were going well. I ended up isolating her taking her to the bar while my wing occupied the 2 friends. Kind of DHV'd without even intending to (Had made friends with the bartender earlier, didn't have to wait for our drinks and bypassed a giant group of people waiting for drinks. Which is a big deal at the crap service beach bars on a spring break resort). Probably had nearly everyone on line staring at me.
Moved her around a bit, took her on stage to dance, left for food.
First possible mistake: While dancing she turned to tell me she had a boyfriend and if she didn't she'd be "all over me". Totally caught off guard I didn't know how to react.
Since she had been flirting and giving IOI's the whole night I figured my best bet would be to just change the topic and keep her in the moment.
I later isolated her further by taking her for a walk on the beach. Heavy kino, we were cuddling on the beach.
I went for K-close and she stopped me bringing up the boyfriend again. (At this point I should have froze-out i think?) I didn't I continued laying with her.
Basically the next night I saw her again and after not having success with other sets I hung with her and it was the same thing all over again.
Any suggestions or advice for future encounters like this?
Should I have K-closed earlier before she even brought up her boyfriend?
Freezing out seems like it might have worked.
Should I have tried running a boyfriend routine where I talk up her boyfriend to unrealistic expectations so she see's his flaws?
Also, if something like this happens I feel like my best best on the second night would have been to just try to work on other sets and just forget about the previous night, right?
