So before I go on to my case, I have a few premises.
A)I am in late high school
B)The girl in question is Asian
C)I am Asian as well
D)Looking for a long term relationship.

CASE: Being in my third year of high school, I have known an Asian girl for half a year now. We are both on speech and debate, and I was the first person she met on the debate team. We share a lot in common, and can relate often. We share a lunch period, and chat occasionally. However, I am experiencing several problems at the moment. The first one is, we have been sort-of out of touch for perhaps 2 months. I was busy with things, and I would sort-of brush her off when she talked to me, and not really strike up a conversation. Furthermore, she has a new friend who likes to spread rumors about me, and I'm having trouble dealing with that. In terms of social status, I guess I'm fairly well off, knowing many many people and being friends with a large portion of them. She seems to be losing interest in me, and I wonder if there is a way to regain her interest, or if this is a situation with dim hopes. Please respond seriously, I appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.
