Hi to all in the brotherhood of the wolves....hope everything is okay, thanks for reading.

My question is: why is it more common and often to hear, even in non "sarging" enviornments like work and others , the sentence "Be a man" coming from a woman to a man, than "Be a woman"..... coming from a man to a woman ?

My guess its a society's programming, but would it be unpolite to use it directed to a HB in a group of women ? Who else as felt this ?

Opinioes are very welcomed
;)

I guess it is a big part of the present values in society. When feminine energy is very present, at some point someone will initiate a trend the other way.

Men have become very feminine, able to cry, change diapers, do the dishes be a stay at home dad. In that process they have lost some of their masculinity. And so they start to grow beards, looking for the masculine force within them.

I guess you could joke around about this in your convo to an HB. At least you should show her you know stuff, show her your intelligence and not your one-sided, judgmental view.

If you would like to know more about social trends on gender, Im happy to share, I did some scientific research on that.

Hey Krista and thanks for the post.

I do undestand your point, i've studied some social family theories and gender roles, and read some basic books like the red queen, esther villar and others. Its always good to share some knowledge and ideas, how can we talk about it ?

My ultimate doubt: in theory is when using this sentence "Be a woman" as kind of a Neg on a dialogue in a middle of a group a women, and as women are very protective as a collective, wont it led to all of them to be kinda offended on me ? Wont be seen as general attack at all of them ?

I find myself to have the same question as you, would I be able to say to a women, " Be more of a women" and not have her be offended? Because I know women say it to alot of AFC men, and they don't get offended.

Wizzay totaly understand your point of view, this is what this topic is about.

If you demonstrate during the chat DHV, before saying that "Be more of a women" i believe she will be surprised on a positive way, nevertheless, what i have some doubts is when this is done pretty early in a set of unknown HBs and when you are surround by a lot of them.........

Sometimes i prevent myself from saying that, for the idea that i have is that if saying it will make then join forces in a way against me.........

Any opinions ?

:)
