I will tell you about my most recent failure. regret has been eating at me since yesterday.

alright, so I went to the mall yesterday. as i was trying to leave, the escalator going down wasn't working. now, what would a normal person do? they would just walk down the steps. but to see people's reactions, I just stood there and held my hand onto the rail, as if the escalator is working. everybody just passed by me, some people giving me weird looks.

then these 2 girls passed by, and one of them started saying to the other one, in my native language, "look at this guy, [laughter laughter] he thinks the escalator is moving, he is gonna be standing there forever [laughter laughter]". the other one was a bitch and didnt really care.

so at this point, i followed them down the steps, and I told her in my native language: "what are you laughing at?" she laughed some more and told her friend "he says what are you laughing at?"
then, like some kind of an idiot, i said "it's a prank, this is not real" and LEFT. just like that. I just left, like a moron.

do you think i had a good chance here? i loved her because she appreciated my sense of humor, AND she was from my country, AND she was my height (I am only 5'5"), AND she had black hair. dammit dammit dammit.
PS looking back, I feel that one of the reasons for my failure was her friend. her friend was so cold, she didn't seem to care about the situation, so I guess i got scared because of her.

You had no real chance with her. You wouldn't have had a chance even if her friend wasn't a part of the equation. Your only regret should be the fact that this girl came through your life, and that, instead of being ready for her, you were standing on a broken escalator like an asshole.

There'll be more chances for you in the future. Don't screw them up.

You need a lot of work on your inner game man.. Honestly, what do you mean you loved her because she thought you were funny? Well, she was laughing at you and not with you unfortunately.. Go to the mall again, and try different ways with different women and see what works for you.. You'll have equal chances with them too..
