So, met this girl 3 weeks ago...met her 3 times after that, including a date (and she said she's gonna take me somewhere "undisclosed for now")...some very brief kino and gives me all the standard IOIs. Then we started talking on the phone, because she lives a bit far (although I know this is Friendzone territory). The average phone times are 2 hours, last night was actually 3 hours (she talked till 2 am although she has to wake up at 7am)!

But last night in the middle of our talk, she went "...yea, I'm actually dating someone, but its complicated..." I, of course, didn't flinch, just pretended she didn't say that and moved on. She also (for the first time) mentioned her ex's. I don't know what's up. Am I slowly being friendzoned or is she giving me a hint so she can grab on to an upgrade bf? Please HELP!!

Well theres nothing really wrong since she only briefly brought up the bf it means shes not really into him or she doesn't care about cheating you should be more alarmed that you talk to her so much when she lives so far away bc your being friend zoned, I don't really talk to girls unless its about setting up a time for us to meet up, too much talking without escalation can end up killing attraction

This could be a friend zone or she doesn't want you any longer.
