That's fine. Don't panic. Her taking so long to text back is not a good sign. Take just as many days to text back as she does. So wait until tomorrow or after tomorrow. "That's fine, I've been busy too. [insert witty banter or DHV short story] How's life been for you?"

This "I'm busy" type of excuse is almost 100% of the time a huge bluff. No one is ever this busy that you can't spare 30 seconds of your time to text someone.

You waited 3 days to text the girl after sleeping with her. You are playing your game. She takes 2 days to answer you. She is playing her game. And since she is popular, her game is sharp.

I suggest you turn up the cocky & funny to break her "game pattern".

I would say so. If you take another 3 days to answer, she'll definetely know you're playing. And honestly, you guys will exchange 3 texts a week if you keep going like this.

Don't call her on being busy. Don't justify the fact that it took you x hours to answer. I would text her normally to gauge if she will keep bluffing. If she takes another 2 days to answer, you let go. If she answers straightaway, congratz, you broke this pattern. And then it will be up to you to calibrate the conversation.

Took your advice , just sent a casual reply a minuet ago , ignoring the delay and ill see about the reply , think it was the best thing to do but if she doesn't reply today ill take the high route and just cut it off because the Internet level isnt where it should be. Cheers mate

That's a dangerous assumption. Who's to say she didn't take so long to text back because she's half-interested? If she's half-interested, then texting back right away is the worst option. But assuming she's in fact interested, and playing her game, then it's best to play it back anyway. Don't bend and give in to her silliness. Girls like a guy that can put up a front and play their games.

But if the 1-2 day delayed response goes on for a week or so, I would give her a chance by replying right away to a text, and see how she responds. If she responds right away as well, then you know she's been playing games and that also paves the way for opportunities for you two to bond. But if she doesn't respond right away, then it's obviously an IOD.

i think you handled it fine. that sucks that shes not responding. however, dont be the guy that ruins it by being too needy. you definitely cant contact her again. wait for her to get back to you. she may be interested in hooking up with you casually still. you just need to show her its not a big deal for you. so just wait it out and, like others have already told you, pursue other girls in the meantime. delete her number if you have to.

if you dont hear from her in like a month, then you may wanna consider reopening by lightly texting her low investment stuff.

Im letting it go , not chasing the girl even after a month etc. If i see her ill talk casually and act like im not bothered, think thats all i can do , have other girls in the meantime so not pushed. thanks for the reply!
