I was at some club with younger girls last night, and at one point my buddy opened a set.

He's doing alright with them, but they seemed sorta bored, and they're the hottest group in the club.

I decide to just be a total dick and see how it goes.

I walk up, talk to him, say, "These girls seem boring. Why are you talking to them? There are better girls inside."

One of the girls then says "Ok, why don't you go talk to these 'better girls', then?"

I reply, "Ok."

And immediately walk away.

The hottest of the group (and by extension, the hottest girl in the club) CHASES AFTER ME (apparently according to my friend she was the "mother hen" of the group) and asks for a drink.

Instead of doing anything, I just blow her off and continue walking away.

I know I should have engaged her at the point she chased me - but can anyone explain precisely why she chased me, and what a good way to act would have been? Why did she take that and decide I was a drink buyer?

Was it her being like "Holy fuck, this dude is high value! I need to shit test him and see if he really is or if attention from me will make him want me!" - that's how I interpreted it.
