Hello, I have a question regarding a girl I am going out with.

We had sex the last couple of times we met.
I usually call a girl the following day after sex and just have a brief conversation. This call is not to set up the next meet, but just to acknowledge the warmth shared/time spent together.

Wondering if this is considered needy on my part? Or should I just call when I have figured out my plans for the weekend with her? Thank you for helping out.
