Why can a girl or girlfriend talk about how hot a guy is or w.e. But when you talk about how hot a girl is they get so offended. Or they even ask you if a certain girl is hot or not. I tend to take that as a shit test. I normally say something along the lines as "she's not my type" or "she's alright"

it's tricky and risky how we talk about other girls around girls. Girls typically don't like terms like "hot" when talking about another girl b/c it's gross to most of them. I think you are ok in acting how you are.

"Wow... She's almost as cute as you, darling..."

it all comes down to tone and the emotions associated with the words you choose.

for example if you say "DAMN SHE'S HOT" in a excited tone the girl perceive it as your not accustomed to being around attractive women because your excited tone subcommunicate that. and the feeling girls associate with "hot" tend to be a simple minded kid who is overwhelmly attracted to a girl.

you should try a different angle such as " yea she has a nice ass" or " she has some pretty perky boobs" say it in a calm layed back even jokingly like manner most of the time the girls will agree with you and you guys can laugh about it.

and the fact you did not get excited shows your use to being around women and are not easily aroused just because a women is "hot" it shows you pay attenion women as an individual and not simply labeling or categorizing them which women hate.

it also shows more abstract thinking which girls find much more attractive then concrete thinking.
