There was this girl i was meant to go out on a date with, but i cancelled because of a surgery i needed. Anyway i invited her out tonight and she texted back this.

Hey ! i can't go out tonight because i have to stay with some friends but let me know next time when you are in birmingham, hope you'll have a great time here !.

I think its just turning me down out flat in a nice way, or she actually doesn't realise i go to the same university as her and live in the same city. How is the best way to respond ?
