I only see you as a friend now.

Hi,

I have been reading this forums post and finally decided to post a question.
Its a simple question, but is hard to hear from my Ex-Girlfriend.

The question is, that my girlfriend only sees me as a friend now and not a lover, which does hurt.
What I have done is that I have told her, we wont contact each other for a few weeks, as she needs space.

My Question is: Is there anything I can do to get it back to Lover level again, or have I blown it and should move on.
We have been together for over 3 years now, and it is hard to hear what words she has said.

I really hope that I am making sense in this post.

Any comments I would really appreciate.

Thanks

I'd try figuring out what attracted her to you in the first place, then try to use that.

If she doesn't respond you can safely assume it's pretty much over as she is cuckolding you.

I mean,
I've never heard of a single story where the 'free week' was a good idea. (if i'm wrong, i'd love to read your story :P)

Anyway: http://heartiste.wordpress.com/2013/01/ ... ttraction/

knock yourself out.

Jav,

Thanks for your response.
What do you mean by " Free week "

SO basically, like you said, If I get no response then its over.

What do I do now, not contact her for a few weeks.
or just move on and try and build my life up?

Thanks

hey mate,

99% of the times, the ''i need space'' is the pussy way out.. not ready to give it up YET, but both knowing it is over :)

from personal experience, i took it the hard way, being with someone for 9 months, and the last 6 where : i love her, but i don't miss her when i'm not with her, i don't need her, and frankly we where fighting so often.. it wasn't realy healthy, i lost 8 pounds in that relationship... from stress...

i think, loving someone never fades, if she sees you as a friend now, you are fucked.. imagine as if you where her, you love someone, it starts fading, so much that you love someone as a friend...

if you want to be happy the rest of your life, do you want too be with someone that loves you only that much? :) or do you want someone that would give there whole for you, and that you know AND FEEL that they would..

you must decide for yourself if you want too hold on or not.. be honnest with yourself, is it all worth it? are you too weak at this time to let go? is the pain you will suffer worth it?

and if she does return, you must realise you will live in doubt, FOR A VERY LONG TIME :) it is basicly fucked fucked fucked

sorry bro :/

Wilmeister,

Thanks for your advice.

I'm not eating much or sleeping that well, through worry.
I guess I will need to accept its over.

Thanks
