just been on coffee date with a girl from work. lasted about 90 mins and had comfortable fun conversation throughout (had her crying with laughter at one point). the only problem was there wasn't much opportunity for kino without it being awkward. walked her back to her car and said see you soon(no hug/kiss). just finding it difficult to judge how well it went although i may be over thinking things. would love some feedback?

Platonic dates are not very good, especially when they're an hour and a half long. Does this girl at least know you're interested in her sexually?

well i made sure to hold good eye contact but i wasn't really sure how else to escalate sexually without being crude. she is quite shy

Dude, 2/3 of the girls I date are "shy". I'm not in to club rats. ALL of them want to be touched and kissed - and quick. First date preferred, second date max. You go longer than that, and your odds of hooking up with this girl fall off a lot.

You don't have to escalate on a first date, especially if the girl is shy. Some girls have hard and fast rules about no kissing/hooking up on the first date. So you have to be patient. Come the second date you want to try to make it a little more fun and upbeat and make it so that you have more opportunities to do kino.

Some girls don't kiss, or it's only a harmless peck on the cheek. Either way, it doesn't mean much in the long run. Make up for lost ground on the second date.
