So I am wondering, how do you guys mostly compliment a girl, and still have her longing for more acceptance etc.? Guess it will have to be some kind of compliment followed by a NEG? but what would be some good examples? I used one on a girl that I see sometimes today which was something like "You are looking good today - For once" while saying it with a smile on my lips, and I think I got the right response. Im sorry if this is newbie questions but I am new to all this, and while I have been picking quite a few girls up, all the theory behind is new to me

If you must do that, at least drop the "for once" and replace by emphasizing "today". IE
"You look nice, today".

I still don't think that's a hot idea, though. There is really nothing wrong with complimenting a girl and just leaving it at that. I use compliments to show interest. However, I don't try to make her like me through them. She gets a compliment when we're having fun.

I don't even particularly agree with "Don't compliment her on her looks". I would just say don't shower her with praise and be like "ZOMG! You're the most beautiful girl evar!". I usually compliment a girl on her ass within thirty minutes of meeting her. Pretty much %100 of the time. I also usually tell her she's cute when she somethings within about ten.

So to summarize, compliments are fine, in moderation. Both in terms of quantity and degree. So "You are such a cute liar" - good. "You're like a goddess from a dream o_o" - bad.

Well she did "attack" me after, in a way so she ended up on top of me, and she laughed alot, so I guess it worked :p
