Ok so Im a noob at all of pickup, etc. Ive only done 1 approach but thats not relevant at this point.
So there are 2 girls, one, is a really old friend of mine from 6th grade (im in 2nd yr of uni right now) and when i made my facebook a few years back she was the first one to add me, we talked a lot over im's just as friends (i dint even remember who she was). So i made a twitter, and started chatting her up, she asked how things are going, and instead of the old its good how about you, i said things actuatlly have been pretty exciting recently, she tweeted back,
"oh what have ya been up to?! and what school do you go to/major? and XXXXX college, i love it there", "i replied way to much to tell over the internet, msg me your cell #
"
she went cold, than i tweeted something at her to one/2 of her posts, just to see if everythings cool, she dint reply, than a little while ago, she liked a fb status of mine, which was a popular status (had like 20+likes), i commented on one of her pic's like where that is, and she replied telling me where it was (but after like 3hrs).
^I think shes just hinting that she doesnt like me like that, and just wants to distance herself or soemthing, i havnt seen her again since like 6th grade.

Now this chick is sexy, but stupid, she talks like a middle schooler, quotes rap etc etc.
She commented that she "fucking love your cover photo" and i said something like, yeah i started listing to ragae recently, and how shes doing. She commented back and i felt like there were ioi's everywhere, and than she made a status about her getting a new phone and msg her for her number, i msg'd her and got nothing back, she still likes my photos here and there though..
This stuff doesnt really bother me, but id like to know is it possible to meet a girl+get a number close over social media things like fb/twitter? I really dont think so bc theres no time frame as the girl usualy takes like hours to msg back so they dont come off as desperate and the built up attraction fails.
