I had been going to class with this girl all semester and I talked to her a few times and walked her to her car, but it wasnt until pretty much the last day of class I asked if she wanted to hangout. She said yea and we met up at the school to study and it couldnt have gone better, she laughed at pretty much everything I said and it went good. After we parted ways and i was walking back to my car she chased me down and said that her car wont start and her phone is dead, so I offered her a ride home and she said yea. Before i drop her off i get her number and she says dont get mad if i dont text back my phone sucks, or something like that i cant remember. I wait couple days to text and when I do she doesnt reply. The next day I was at work and didnt put my phone in my locker and accidentally called her phone in my pocket a couple times, she then texts me from her friends phone and I explain what happened she was like its alright and then we text for a bit then he says she has to go because of her friend. I wait around 5 days and text her whatsup, she doesnt reply and the next day i decided to call her, no one picks up and what sounded like her dads voicemail came on saying he changed his number. Im interested in this girl but I cant seem to find a way to communicate with her, I dont think shes the gogetter type to text or call me, but im sure shes interested in me. Any advice guys?

Then don't rely on text or phone game. Do you have her on facebook, just be downright straight and ask her out. No games.

Guys assume that a girl has the same interest in texting or calling as they do but it's really a mixed bag. Some girls will text you back straight away, others won't or will wait. Some girls don't even look at their phone for hours and, seeing your text, will be too embarrassed to text you back late. Hell, I would even dare say that a girl could be nervous about texting YOU.

Of course it's impossible for you to know the reasons why she doesn't text back but here's a piece of advice: STOP ASSUMING THE WORST CASE SCENARIO. Maybe her phone is broken or lost, maybe she doesn't have free texts, maybe she has a really crappy old phone that is simply a bitch to use. You can't assume that she is rejecting and ignoring you.

For example one of my closest friends is a girl. It's totally platonic but we love each other, yet she never fucking texts me back. She's just that kind of person. Maybe your girl is the same.

So here's my advice for what you should do now. I assume you are on your Christmas holidays from college and you are not seeing her in the flesh, well there is only one thing you can do to fix that. Wait. In a couple of weeks you'll be back to college and you can talk to her in person and you will have a lot more control over the situation. In the meantime don't bother texting if you know there will not be a response, keep your distance. You can try facebooking her but even then try not to over do it. The only way you can ever make proper progress with a girl is face to face so have patience, a lack of patience is a weakness every guy has.
