Hi all guys,

Just finished reading the book "The Game" from Neil Strauss and I just had the impulse to share with some of you my point of view regarding the situation of Mystery going crazy jealous about Herbal and her ex GF.

To me, it seemed a no brainer that Katya shouldn't have been allowed in the house anymore.

What Herbal was standing to gain was:
the "chance" to shack in the mansion with a girl he had basically just met and that had already tried with the whole house.

What Mystery stood to lose was:
His sanity, his friends, his whole well being.
Also the whole house would have been badly affected.

As a side dish, Mystery was basically a nice guy and the father of it all: everyone had learned from him and he was the man behind the whole idea of Project Hollywood.

Come on, wasn't it obvious? Mystery had the precedence here. Herbal should have understood and either kept a relationship with Katya living separately or he should have moved out.

Style should have manned up and taken a stance to defend the person whom in the moment was the weakest and neediest of all. He let him go off the cliff instead.

What do you think, I'd love to hear your views.

Seriously? I didn't know that...
What parts would be made up?

I just read it as well, but I found it to drone on and as a pickup book it only presented the basics and most of which are in the first 50 pages. The rest is just a story of how PUA's came to be, how Neil was god, and what he did over time. Honestly I felt it could have been drastically reduced and sadly I often found myself skimming through boring parts like Mystery's downfall etc.

That does sound a little bit suspicious.
I mean, he also stresses when he's nervous and that he's still nervous about approaching even after many many iterations, however the overall picture is very very rosy.
Not saying what's in there is not true, but it makes you think a little bit...

However, I have to say that I enjoyed the story, the human interaction beyond the pick-up thing and theory (that's what motivated me to open the thread I guess.. :) )
