Alright, so I'm talking to this girl via text and we're setting up a date. I asked her when her finals were done. She gave me the day. This is our text from there:

Me: Cool. Let's do something chill.

Her: Like

Me: Wine

Me: U drink?

Her: I'm thinking about Margaritas

Her: Well that's what I'm getting when I'm done with my final at least

I want to know if she's testing to see if I'll be pliant for her...just say "oh, well margaritas is gewd!"
I'm thinking about saying, "I want wine. Let me know when you're down for that."
Besides, I have food allergies to one ingredient that's in wine. But what do you guys suggest?

holy shit. talk about overanalyzing! youve got a girl who seems to be interested in hanging out and drinking with you and youre worried about whether changing from wine (that you dont want anyway) to margaritas (that she wants) will make you look unalpha? thats really strange, dude.

just send something like "ooohhh margaritas. interesting. are you any good at making them?" and move the discussion forward to when you two will be having them. getting her to make them at her place for you should be the ultimate goal here.

I wouldn't worry about girls TAKING CONTROL through a text message. Demanding that you have wine and only wine will look a bit crazy, just build some rappore, be playful and fun if you can. "Margarita's sounds cool, are you any good at making them?" sounds like just about the perfect response to me.
