Okay, i asked out a girl to join some friends for us to see a jazz gig. Im wondering how the best way to construct the text is, as i think little details like this i fall short of.
Say "hey how are you doing, that gig i was talking about is on monday, still up for coming ?"
Seems very bad for some reason, and is missing something, how can i structure this text better.
I say this because i know there is a certain art to it, and i would appreciate a couple of pointers

No need to blow such a simple concept out of proportion. ;)

Do you really think the way you structure a text will influence whether or not she accepts the invitation? If she is interested and not busy, she'll accept. Otherwise, she won't.
