I know conventional thinking says just assume you are going back to your place and lead the way, however I dont think it is that easy in this situation. Going to meet a girl in town tomorrow but we dont live that close to each other, its not like she can just swing home in the morning before work, if she was going to stay at mine she would need to bring spare clothes etc.
Keen to try to get her round to crash at mine but not sure how to entice her, we havent f'd yet and she is playing it quite coy with me - or my game needs refining. Was thinking about simply asking her what her plans were for tomorrow after we have met up at the art gallery and when she tells me I'll just say her plans are boring and that she should come back to mine instead. Good idea? Bad idea?

How intimate have you two gotten? Kissed a couple times yet? Touched one another? One intermediate step you can take is to tell her you can chat in your car as you listen to music. Then, depending on how much rapport you've built, and how much touching/kissing you've done for the evening, is to TELL HER to get in the backseat to cuddle. Not quite comfortable, but it'll do the trick and make her feel like staying over your place or vice versa. Then just hope she suggests one of you stay over the other's place, otherwise don't worry, it'll come up again. _________________ Before she can respect you, you need to respect yourself.
