A friend of mine had a girl who doesn't really know him go out of her way to talk to him. She was a friend of one of his friends on face book. In this instance they started talking and my friend now thinks she is a stalker, but, I could see this turning out into a positive situation depending on who it is that sends you the message. If it was a super hot chick that messaged him I know my friend would of reacted differently. What is your take on doing this? Has anyone here ever tried this/had success with this? Do you think that its too creepy or its something that a good pua can pull off?

It's a little risky and myself I wouldn't do it. But you can pull it off if you're able to send a casual message at the same time as finding something in common with her.

Some examples:
"Hey I was just looking for my friend with the same name as you and you kinda look like her but I don't think it's you... Is it? LOL"
"Hey my friend told me to add you? But I don't think you're the right person... Are you?"

Or anything else that may seem casual/innocent. Then all you can do is hope she'll respond with a question... Which wouldn't be easy.
