I had an experience this week, where I think I am unnecessarily and ignorantly turning group alphas jealous and against me. I didn't do it on purpose. I just had such fun with the group, that when I finally went over to say hi to the last two people, the dude was a total dick. I knew the guy and he is a cool dude, but he isn't in my corner so to speak. Well I think maybe he got jealous that I was making friends with all his group so easily and he felt threatened. I didn't mean to ruin the guys day or make him feel that I was stealing away all his friends. But it was kind of a radical thing. I had everyone joking around for 2+ hours non stop. Girls were handing me their numbers etc.

Do you think there is a sort of protocol I should have followed. I had no idea he was an alpha or thought he was one. I was just there to have fun.

Do you think I should say hi to everyone sooner and mix everybody together sooner to avoid dudes getting all pissed and turned against me?

Do you think I should plan a party or something with the alphas first and win their trust and respect, before I win all their friends hearts and minds? The dude very well could turn everyone against me. I don't want to piss off the wrong guy if I could have made friends with him and worked together.

It just never occurred to me until I saw how this guy reacted. I felt bad for him. My social dynamics / pua skills have reached a new level and I can see how it might be unsettling to people who have never seen this shit before. It kind of caught me by surprise too.
