Girl that's friend with a house mate

So I have a friend, (who I am currently living with) and he has a friend who at a guess, has minor interest in me at the moment. She's a cool girl and I get on with her too, I rarely see her to be honest, and when I do it's normally over SPAM/facetime where my friend is chatting to her. It seems there's potential for something to happen, but I just need to escalate it and get her out on her own. So basically my question is, how do I approach her?

Implications like this is why I tend to ignore social circle game.

Best way to do it is to catch her alone when your house mate is having a shower or wateva. Or passed out from drinking.
Some kind of situation like that.
