It Sunday right now, I really want to invite this girl ive known for 2 years over (had no game) to my place tonight (been 3 days since I last saw her), but I am not sure how to open things since things didnt really end well last time I saw her.

See I have hookedup with her but not all the way I suppose, I went down on her, but her sister came home early and we had to stop...this was about a month ago.
The last time I saw her (after a few weeks of no contact) we went out for coffee and only a hug and goodbye were made, I found out she was going to a party that night..had a feeling she was going to hookup with this dude so kinda had bitter feelings but tried not to show it lol..girls can since that shit from a mile away

Anyways..
Now I really want her to come over tonight but unsure how to approach this, should I simply ask right now (6:30pm) if she wants to come over watch a movie? Or should I simply, wait a few days, text her, and get her to meetup again on a future date?

but well she rejected i guess..heres how it went...basically

Called her up, basic greeting and then I asked what shes up to tonight
she said she was painting lol
asked her what color
she answers
I say something about that color positively (trying to pattern)
asked to hangout
She said she would but had to do a paper after painting,
Idk why I said this but after she replied, I said sometihng along the lines of - i just finished up one of my papers for a lecture tomorrow but forgot ink and now have to run to the store to get some....wasn't really expecting her to say no lol..
then I said I had to get going and talk to her some other time and we exchanged good byes

So she either has classwork to do or simply is not interested in going and doing anything "fun" tonight. So now what? Should I not contact her untill I want to plan on the day to meetup? Ive known this girl for awhile so I am trying to f-close as fast as I can before it gets to awkward again and the spark fades....and I know after the first f-close she will be a LTFB
