So I've been reading up on some PUA techniques and watched both seasons of VH1s pick up artist which was actually pretty helpful I think... Showing in field videos really makes it tangible so I could relate... Anyways I was at the club a few days ago and this guy walks up to me and says this girl wants to talk to me. I thought he was joking but he surely wasn't so I walked over and introduced myself. Mind you I didn't have to open and we were already isolated because she was only talking to me. I'm not sure what happened after that but I was just at a loss for words. I really didn't know what to say and we just started having a normal conversation talking about where she was from and what she does for a living blah blah blah. Long story short she lost interest after about 10 minutes and left. I guess I'm having a hard time separating game talk from normal talk. I'm wondering if someone can give me some advice on what I did wrong and what I could have done. Additionally any reading material or suggestions on how to improve my overall game would be appreciated. I'm new to all this...
