Hey guys, I've lurked here for quite some time, this is going to be my first post and I hope you guys can help me out. I've never asked for advice on the internet before but I figured this was a circumstance that called for me to do so so here it goes. This girl and I have known each other for about 5 years but over last summer it became more than just a casual friendship. We began going out to clubs and bars with our group of friends and there was always some mild/innocent flirting between us. A few times our friends would not be down to go out and we ended up just going together. I think it's safe to say that we both had a good time on these occasions and we typically ended up dancing together with some light making out taking place. There were also some other subtle signs I received from her that lead me to believe she's in to me. I was considering telling her I like her as more than a friend and asking her out at the end of one of these nights but it was the end of the summer and we were both leaving to go back to college. The timing just didn't work.

Fast forward 2 months, we're both at school and don't really interact a whole lot due to our busy schedules except for once in a while on social media. I'm now sure that this is a girl that I want to spend my time with and ask out but due to us being so far from each other during the semester it seems ridiculous to just out of the blue ask her out through a text when we won't even see each other for months at a time. I'm considering waiting until we're both home on winter break and hoping that we're alone at some point again like in the summer so I can ask then but there's two issues with that. I'm not sure if that moment will come and even if it does, we'll be leaving again for the spring semester a few days/weeks after I ask her.

What are your opinions on this situation? How would you go about it, have any of you been in a similiar situation, and what do you guys recommend I do? Thanks for your time bro's, I realize that was quite a bit to read but I really do appreciate it.

Here's some advice: if she comes back try to build some sexual tension between you two that way you could try and make a FWB out of her..if she doesnt come back then move on and game girls in your area. Good luck.
