Now i realize that she isn't really showing any IOI (except for answering, but that seems to be more just not to be seen as an arrogant bitch, she's a intern on my job).
I also realize that she isn't probably waiting for another reply here, but i would like to give it a last shot
I have two options here
Option 1 , under the radar:
Me:
and what if you don't get the job?
Option 2, direct:
Me:
Let's take a drink anyway. Always good to meet some new people. I'm busy this week, but might have a little bit of time next week. What about you."
Any advice?
thanks so much
A.
hey mate,
its good that you realize that this is not an IOI. She is being friendly, and there is nothing wrong with that.
If she is still an intern, talk to her and ask her in real life. Say to her: I want to get to know you better. lets go for a drink.
Because on facebook you have indeed 2 options: the creepy way and the good way. You have shown no direct interest what so ever. But, by being indirect on facebook, you think that your message of personal interest is implied. On her side however, she will figure out that you are in some way interested, but she doesnt know why. she can only figure that it must be because of her looks. In these modern days, for her is something closer to obsession implied (a bit exaggerated, but you get the picture).
So dont go for: what if you dont get the job. because she is going to say: what do you mean? Enter the creepers!
instead, be direct. Say something: i have a feeling that you might be a fun person to be around. I want to get to know you more. Something like that. Then check her response.
Last i would like to say: if you can, go game in real life. FB just sucks for gaming.
cheers!
