Hello everyone,

I was simply wondering if any of you guys ever picked up, slept, or even dated a girl with whom you could not really communicate with because of the language barrier?

I am french, but I still consider myself bilingual since I'm not that bad in english, but that's about it. My spanish is LAME (basically, all I know is : soy de canada, donde eres, como esta, chupa mi penne )

Anyways, I am wondering if any of you guys ever did it. Last night I met a girl from Brazil. She was speaking portuguese, but didn't know a word in french and her english was awful. Anyways, we spoke for maybe half an hour (trying would be more appropriate) and I took her number and facebok. I am currently using google translator to talk to her on facebook, and I'll try to set up another date, but the language barrier still makes it really weird.

Any similar stories?

I know how you feel. I was very social, funny and dominant most of my school life. I was just naturally good at interacting with girls and had a tight social circle. I was also pretty popular. However, I came to the U.S more than a year ago and my game has suffered since then. I am not as fluent in english as native americans and don't have the american accent. I miss those days in my home country where I used to be the center of attention. I regret the fact that if I had stayed back in my country, I could have atleast slept with fifty girls in five years. I was average looking but very skilled socially. I wish I was back home having fun
