Yeah i am partly interested in her, even though i find her attractive it wouldn't be wise to go for it, firstly she is my SPAM, secondly she has a long distance boyfriend, and he seems like a legend and thirdly i prefer her as a friend.

People do value each other based on character, but how would you expect someone to know the quality of your character after having met them in a bar ten minutes ago? Go up to a girl and be like, "Hi, I'm Jim. Did you know that I don't cheat on girlfriends and I donate money to help starving kids in Africa? You can trust and confide in me, I'm a good guy."

Also, only people with good character value people with character. Bad people don't give a shit either way. Not saying most people are bad, but a lot of people in the gen x, y, and z generations have a different set of morals, and not necessarily good ones. It is sad that a lot of these tricks and tools of social dynamics are just a perversion of how people should behave an interact, but it is what it is unfortunately.
