Long story short, I was an afc, really liked this girl, told her so, she said no and I kept pushing until we were barely on speaking terms. Eventually I apologized for being so pushy and now we're friends, not really close but a lot better than we were before haha. This is basically what made me realize I was an afc and led me to discover this community, where I lurked for a while.

Now I realized I had a serious case of oneitis, and I realize that investing so much in a girl before even getting any interest back was seriously messed up. I'm interested in playing the field now, and even though I don't have strong feelings for this girl anymore, I'm still attracted and in addition to other girls, I'd still be interested in at least attempting to pursue something with her, at least out of my own pride.

I guess my questions are: how could I do this, and am I still acting on oneitis even if I'm trying to pursue other girls?

You could all these tricks to escape the friendzone, f-close other babes, freeze outs etc, but really all you have to do with this girl is ESCALATE, next time you see her act like you've never met before and just escalate on her like she was some horny slut down at a club. At first she will probably be stand offish, but don't let that stop you, wind the sexual tension up and sometimes that's all it takes to get out of the friendzone.
