Hi all!

I would love if you could all let me know your thoughts on this:

I met a stunning girl the other night, spent an hour walking her and her friends back to the taxi rank. She got started on by some bloke who wouldnt take the hint, who in turn started on me.. I stayed calm and his mates took him away from us, but she appreciated that I was there to protect her.

So i say to her i want to take her out on a date and we play a game of what we would do on a first date. IOI's were apparent, laughing, hitting, building up the image of us going on a date with her.

Anyway, get back to the taxi rank, she jumps at giving me her number/FB.. we have a K/close there and then. I get a message within 15 minutes saying 'Im sorry im never like this when drunk'... followed by a few funny txts the next day.

So i leave it a day then flat out ask her for a drink. She comes back within an hour saying

'Hi, sorry i didnt reply earlier, yeah I dont mind Im pretty busy for the next few weeks though x'

My intuition says she is either having second thoughts or is generally busy. Do i cut the losses, try to build rappor with her to build up that fun we were having or is there something im missing.?
